I took prompts, and I'll be posting the drabbles as I complete them.

4. shiv5468 prompted me with the drabble title and stone.

The Antiquarian Society (G; Lumione; 100 words)

"You must join us, Miss Granger."

The reception was dull, but not enough to make her crave Malfoy's company, no matter his "redemption"—or the cut of his robes. Still, she was intrigued; thanks to the Antiquarian Society's largesse, fascinating magical artifacts had been displayed in the Atrium for months.

But studying the Merlin Stone more closely would mean working for you. She frowned. "I have a job, thank you."

"Yes, a 'job'," he replied, glancing at the buffet.

Ron appeared bored, unforgiving.

As usual.

"Your passion shouldn't be wasted on such an insipid . . . occupation."

She found herself in sudden agreement.

You're welcome. :) It's "bunnied" me a bit, which is lovely because I've been blocked—but I couldn't possibly hop with it now. (Oh, dear. I'm being cutesy. That's a sign that it's past time for bed.) If you feel bunnied and want to continue, please feel free; no doubt Lucius is thinking that all those Galleons he spent towards establishing the society were well spent. ;)

I shall put it on the back burner and see what runs up my flagpole...
