About our good girl, Darcy

Darcy Doggle has cancer. Rather than put her through a painful surgery followed by a treatment regimin that would not save her but would diminish her quality of life, Shog and I have decided to give her a few spoiled weeks and then let her go. We don't want to say goodbye to our good girl, but we know that it's the right thing to do.

I am almost out of spoons and have been pilling all the fuzzies against Giardia while trying to keep it together for Shog and work in the wake of losing Albus, so I hope you can forgive me for not yet having replied to your kind condolences with regard to him; they meant a lot, and I was grateful to read them. Thank you all so much. *hugs*

Fuck cancer.
