An LJ trick for easier reading

If you ever find it difficult to read someone's journal because of their layout, type "?style=mine" (omit the quotation marks) after their URL, and you'll be able to read the journal in your own style. If you click on a link, you'll have to do it again, but sometimes, it's necessary.

This post brought to you by my own difficulties this morning. White text on a clear background featuring a busy, glittering image isn't readable.

You can also make this your default setting.

Manage Account Setting > Display

Click the box beside View all journals and communities in my own style (Can also be done for Mobile settings. As well as Comment Settings.)

It's been my default setting for years, so I tend to forget about it being a problem for others.

Oh, I should have mentioned that. Thank you.

I like to see people's layouts, but sometimes, they get in the way.

White on clear with added sparkles *boggles

This is very useful information, especially for someone with severely wonky eyesight! Thanks :)
