(I never looked at my man while the vid was playing. *snorts*)

This comic involves zombies but is surprisingly romantic (although the illustrated certainty of a coming zombipocalypse is disturbing).

Kitty has the right idea, especially considering that they're calling for 12 to 18 more inches of snow. o.O

I went to the Wegmans at 6:00 a.m. to stock up on a few things; I'm glad that I did because the restocking was incomplete and there were already loads of people there.

Ah! Today in severus_shorts, you'll find an all-category bonus fic (I'm about to post it). It is the fic you're looking for. /geeky

Love that kitty pic!

I went to Wegmans last night around 8pm and they were doing inventory so it seemed like they hadn't restocked on purpose, IMO. So it would be easier to count, you know. But there weren't that many people, considering. But that was the new one on 7 near me, not the one on 28.

*off to run errands before it snows . . . again* ;)

I went to the one on 28 because it's a bit closer (I'm in love with the new one, though *g*). They'd done some restocking—there were bananas!—but still, people must have positively fallen on the new stuff because everything looked pretty bare, no matter that they were actively restocking the veg. I walked in perhaps 15 minutes after it opened, and the first shopper I saw already had a full cart. Good luck with errands—and the next storm!

That cat is adorable. :)

I think I approve of that commercial - I had to watch it w/out sound since I'm at work, but I'm sure he was actually offering much more prosaic things than I can idly imagine, so...

Also, cute cat picture.

We're only supposed to get 6 inches or so up here where the snow usually belongs, so imagine that's just the leftovers after the storm gets done dumping on you.

The vid is worth watching with sound. ;)

I hope you only get six; I'm really not looking forward to another big storm. At least the power has only been going away for brief periods of time.

I'll rewatch it when I'm home then.

But up here, deeper amounts aren't nearly as big a deal, since we have the equipment to deal with them, and the powerlines and trees are designed for such loads. So it might be better if we get a bit more and you guys a bit less.

Awww, cute kitty pic! No more snow for us, I think. It's still kinda cold though (and no rain at the mo, which is always a bonus here!)

But yes, what a commercial!

have you ever wondered how kitty's get in some of the places they get to?

For example, once, when I was a teen, we heard one of the cats merrowwing for help inside the house we lived in and started searching for it. He was no where to be seen, high or low. We were despairing for the merrows were getting desperate. Then one of us saw a paw poking out of the heat vent in the living room. A heat vent covered by a grate. We lifted the grate, rescued the cat and he went off.

However, how in the heck did he get into the heat vent? None of us had removed any of the grates that day (or within a few weeks of that). There was no holes in the heating pipes (my mom checked.) And the furnace was on so the cat couldn't have gotten into the piping that way, so how in the heck did he get in? It still makes my head hurt when I wonder.

Just as I'm going huh? Upon seeing your cat on top of those clothes, threaded through the hangers. Do you have any idea how it got there? Curious minds want to know.

And I so want that guy to hang around in my apartment for a few weeks.

Cats can squeeze into the most bizarre places. I watched a rescue show that profiled just this thing, and there was a kitten profiled who'd squeezed between some bricks. The rescuers had to coat the kitten with vaseline in order to pull her out—but she was okay, thank goodness. I think it's to do with all the extra lives—the getting into weird and small places thing, I mean. :)

The picture of the cat is awesome. I'm not even going to try contemplating how it managed to get there, lol. The commercial was most amusing as well.~Sophia
